Nancy Stockinger (Guentner) -S'68 Historian- Hi Gauchos, I can’t believe it’s been forty years! I might be reaching middle age—but certainly not old age. That’s something reserved for our parents!!! I started reminiscing about the high school days a few weeks ago and came up with my own list of great memories that I am sure some of you share…Drill Team, Play Production, Student Council, Driver’s Ed, a shop teacher named Mr. Henry, (I think) who taught us how to make cool jewelry and ceramic on copper ashtrays, girls chorus, Jane Addams, and some great formal dances!!! I am looking forward to the Great Reunion. It looks like a pretty big group and I hope we get a few more last minute sign-ups. And what a fantastic job Dennis and Diana have done on our Reunion Website. I can’t imagine the hours they have put into this and helping find our missing classmates. Thank you, Dennis and Diana. is Personnel Manager for Naval Weapons Station, Seal Beach. Nancy has
attended California Lutheran College andCal State Long Beach receiving
a B.A. degree in 1973. She worked as an Employement Counselor at an employrnent
agency one year and then a personnel manager (still working on that.) Nancy says
she moved 10 times in the past 10 years! Travels have taken her to
Hawaii twice, and she has traveled throughout Europe - Greece, Yugoslavia,
Italy, Switzerland, England, France, Germany, Austria and parts of the
USA. Sheenjoys jogging, bicycling, reading and acting.> |
